For NUHOMS-type spent fuel storage, Wheelift has developed a new self-propelled transporter concept that makes the Transnuclear trailer systems totally obsolete. The fingertip control and all-directional precision travel control provides not only dramatically improve handling safety, but allows the storage modules to be placed much closer together than would otherwise be possible.
